WTF: Wellness Tracking Framework

WTF: Wellness Tracking Framework (“WTF”) is an early beta prototype designed to help users organize lab results, symptoms, medications, vitals, health events, and appointment questions into a personal health timeline.
WTF is designed as a local-first tool. The current beta version runs in your browser and stores your entries locally on your device. WTF does not require a user account, does not use a cloud database for your health entries, and does not automatically share your health information.
The WordPress website that hosts information about WTF may collect limited technical or visitor information through normal website hosting, security features, cookies, or basic site statistics. This does not include the health information you enter into WTF.
1. What information WTF stores
If you choose to use WTF, you may enter information such as:
- lab results,
- symptoms,
- medications and supplements,
- vitals and measures,
- health timeline notes,
- appointment questions,
- clinician comments or personal notes.
This information may be sensitive personal health information. Please use WTF only on a private device and browser that you control.
2. Where your information is stored
The current beta version stores your entries locally in your browser using browser storage.
This means:
- your information stays on the device and browser you use,
- WTF does not upload your entries to a cloud database,
- WTF does not create a user account,
- WTF does not send your health entries to the app creator,
- WTF does not automatically share your information with anyone.
If you use WTF in Chrome, your entries are stored in Chrome. If you open WTF in Safari, Firefox, or another browser, that browser may not show the same information unless you import a backup.
3. Browser storage and data loss
Because WTF stores your entries locally in your browser, your information may be deleted if you:
- clear your browser data,
- clear your cache or site storage,
- use privacy-cleaning software,
- reset your browser,
- delete the local app files,
- use a private/incognito browsing window,
- lose access to your device.
Please export regular JSON backups if you enter information you want to keep. Do not rely on WTF as your only record of health information.
4. Backups and exported files
WTF allows you to export your information as a JSON backup file. This file may contain the health information you entered into the app.
You are responsible for storing exported files securely. Do not email or upload exported backup files unless you are comfortable with the privacy and security of that service.
WTF may also allow CSV exports for certain sections, such as labs or vitals. These files are for your own use and may contain personal health information.
5. What WTF does not collect
The current beta version of WTF does not intentionally collect, upload, or transmit:
your name,
your email address,
your health entries,
analytics data from within the WTF tool,
tracking data,
advertising data,
account information,
payment information.
WTF does not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
The WordPress website or hosting provider may process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, or basic site statistics, as part of normal website operation, security, and maintenance. This technical website information is separate from the health information users enter into WTF.
6. Website contact and feedback
If you contact WTF by email or submit feedback, the information you choose to provide may be received and reviewed for the purpose of responding to you or improving the beta prototype.
Please do not send sensitive health information by email.
7. No sale of personal information
WTF does not collect, upload, sell, or share your personal information.
8. Third-party services
The current local beta app does not use third-party analytics, advertising, cloud storage, or external APIs.
If WTF is later updated to use hosting, analytics, feedback forms, email tools, or other third-party services, this privacy policy should be updated to describe those services.
9. Security
WTF is designed to reduce privacy risk by keeping your information local to your browser. However, local storage is not the same as encrypted medical record storage.
Your information may be accessible to someone who has access to your device, browser, user account, exported files, or backups. Please protect your device with a password, avoid using WTF on shared or public computers, and store backups securely.
10. Children and minors
WTF is intended for personal use by adults. It is not designed for use by children or for tracking another person’s health information without appropriate authority or consent.
11. Changes to this policy
WTF is in early beta. Features may change, and this privacy policy may be updated as the app develops.
