WTF: Wellness Tracking Framework
Effective date: July 1, 2026
WTF is an early beta tool for personal tracking and appointment preparation. It is not medical advice, not a diagnostic tool, and not for emergencies. Your entries are stored locally in your browser, so use one browser consistently and export regular backups.
These Terms of Use apply to your use of WTF: Wellness Tracking Framework (“WTF”), an early beta prototype designed for personal health tracking, organization, and appointment preparation.
By opening or using WTF, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use WTF.
1. Purpose of WTF
WTF is designed to help users organize lab results, symptoms, medications, supplements, vitals and measures, health events, notes, and appointment questions into a personal health timeline.
WTF is intended for personal tracking, education, organization, and appointment preparation only.
2. Early beta prototype
WTF is currently in early beta. Features may change, and occasional issues, errors, bugs, browser differences, or display problems may occur.
You should not rely on WTF as your only record of health information.
3. No medical advice
WTF does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional.
You agree not to rely on WTF for diagnosis, treatment, medication decisions, testing decisions, emergency support, or medical decision-making.
For questions about your health, symptoms, medications, lab results, or medical concerns, consult a qualified health professional.
4. Not for emergencies
WTF is not designed for urgent or emergency situations.
If you are experiencing severe symptoms, chest pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting, confusion, signs of stroke, severe allergic reaction, suicidal thoughts, or any other urgent or concerning symptoms, seek emergency medical care or contact local emergency services immediately.
5. User responsibility
You are responsible for:
- the information you enter into WTF,
- reviewing your entries for accuracy,
- confirming health information with a qualified health professional,
- exporting regular backups if you want to keep your data,
- storing exported files securely,
- using WTF on a private device and browser that you control.
WTF does not verify your lab values, units, reference ranges, medication doses, symptoms, notes, or other entries.
6. Local browser storage
The current beta stores information locally in your browser. WTF does not provide cloud storage, account recovery, password recovery, or automatic backups.
If you clear your browser data, cache, or site storage, your WTF entries may be deleted.
Use one browser consistently and export regular JSON backups if you enter information you want to keep.
7. Backups and exported files
WTF may allow JSON and CSV exports. Exported files may contain personal health information.
You are responsible for storing exported files securely. Do not email, upload, or share exported files unless you are comfortable with the privacy and security of that service or recipient.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use WTF for emergency care or urgent medical decision-making,
- use WTF to provide medical advice to others,
- misrepresent WTF as a diagnostic tool, medical device, or clinical service,
- copy, sell, redistribute, modify, rebrand, or commercially exploit WTF without permission,
- remove or alter disclaimers, privacy notices, beta notices, or safety language,
- use WTF in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
9. No clinician-patient relationship
Use of WTF does not create a clinician-patient, advisor-client, or professional relationship with the creator of WTF.
Submitting feedback, sending email, or using the beta prototype does not create a clinical care relationship.
10. Intellectual property
WTF, including its name, design, text, structure, visual style, and app materials, is owned by the creator unless otherwise stated.
You may use the beta prototype for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rebrand, distribute, or present WTF as your own work without written permission.
11. No warranties
WTF is provided “as is” and “as available” as an early beta prototype.
No warranties are made about its accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, browser compatibility, or suitability for medical or clinical use.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the creator of WTF is not responsible for any loss, harm, injury, damages, data loss, decisions, delays in care, privacy incidents caused by user device/browser access, or other consequences arising from use of, reliance on, or inability to use WTF.
13. Changes to WTF or these terms
Because WTF is in beta, the app, website, features, documentation, and these Terms of Use may change over time.
Continued use of WTF after changes means you accept the updated terms.
